I am writing to apply for a Dental Trainee Nurse / Dental Assistant position within your practice. I am an overseas-qualified dentist (BDS) from India with hands-on clinical experience as a Dental Surgeon and Senior Dental House Surgeon, and I am currently seeking an opportunity to begin my dental career in the UK.

I have gained extensive clinical exposure in general dentistry, including scaling and root planing, restorative treatments, extractions, and endodontic procedures. I have also assisted in complex cases such as periodontal surgeries, bone grafting, and crown placements, providing efficient chairside support while strictly adhering to cross-infection control and sterilization protocols in line with clinical standards.

My experience includes taking dental radiographs (IOPA, OPG), maintaining accurate clinical records, assisting in treatment planning, and supporting prosthetic procedures. I am confident in performing dental impressions and delivering clear oral hygiene instructions to patients. I take pride in my ability to communicate effectively, manage anxious patients, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

I understand the importance of complying with UK regulations and am fully prepared to register with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Care Professional. I am also eager to undertake further training and qualifications required to progress within the UK dental system.

I am a dedicated, quick learner with strong attention to detail, and I am highly motivated to work in a professional and patient-focused environment. With an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 and a flexible approach, I am ready to relocate and contribute effectively to your team.
