Job Title: Business Development Intern

Location: Chennai (On-site)

Duration: 3-6 Months (Potential Conversion to Full time Employment based on Performance)

About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist in market research and lead generation activities, along with engaging potential clients through cold calling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and business opportunities

• Generate leads through various channels including online research and databases

• Perform cold calling to introduce company services and build initial client interest

• Maintain and update lead databases and CRM records

• Assist the Business Development team in day-to-day activities and reporting

• Coordinate with internal teams for follow-ups and client engagement

Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Confidence in speaking with potential clients over calls

• Basic understanding of sales and business development processes

• Good research and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Immediate availability to join

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field

• Prior internship or exposure to sales/BD (preferred but not mandatory)
