Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Anniston, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, perimeter, and other designated areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards in an industrial location.
• Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry and exit of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Support incident reporting and daily activity documentation, including noting operational concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations observed during patrols and assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
