The Opportunity

The Cultivator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day cultivation and maintenance of cannabis plants throughout their growth cycle, ensuring optimal plant health, yield, and product quality. This role contributes to efficient and compliant production operations by executing cultivation tasks, monitoring environmental conditions, and maintaining strict adherence to sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do

Core Responsibilities

• Perform daily plant care activities, including watering, pruning, feeding, transplanting, and general crop maintenance to support healthy growth and optimal yields.
• Harvest plants and assist with post-harvest activities, including sterilizing equipment and restocking materials in a timely and efficient manner.
• Continuously monitor and assess plant health, identifying signs of pests, disease, or nutrient deficiencies.
• Collect and record plant data accurately, performing basic calculations and reporting findings to the Cultivation Team Lead.
• Identify and promptly report any issues related to irrigation systems, ventilation, environmental conditions, crop health, or equipment performance.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and production areas in good working conditions, ensuring readiness for daily operations.
• Monitor inventory levels of cultivation materials and supplies, and communicate replenishment needs proactively.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sterility within cultivation and production areas, including routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment and infrastructure.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
• Accurately complete all required documentation and records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with ROSE LifeScience policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional teams to support production goals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

What You Bring

• High school diploma preferred.
• Horticulture certifications and spray cards are an asset
• Safety certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.) an asset.

Experience

• Experience in agricultural / greenhouse production or related field an asset.
• Experience working in an industrial facility is an asset.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at a desk in a seated position or standing if necessary.
• Ability to work at a desk in a seated position or standing if necessary, for long periods of time
