The job duties and activities will vary depending on the position. Some examples include, but are not limited to:
SP-03 Opportunities (Salary Range $59,623- $65,813)
SP-04 Opportunities ( Salary Range $65,389- $73,595)
Intent Of The Process
This process aims to fill various SP-03 and SP-04 positions within the Atlantic Region. When you apply to this staffing process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, candidates who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
We may create separate lists of qualified candidates based on specific staffing requirements which may be used to staff current and future vacancies as well as similar positions.
Employees are required to work on-site at a CRA-approved location a minimum of three days per week or 60% of their regular monthly work schedule. Individual exceptions may be granted based on individual circumstances and the nature of the work being performed.

Who Can Apply
Any individual residing in Canada, and Canadian citizens and permanent residents residing abroad who recently graduated (or will graduate) from a recognized secondary (High School) or post secondary institution within the last five (5) years (May 2021 to May 2026).

and individuals with preferred status who live or work less than 40km from the position(s) being staffed.
Preference for appointment will be given to veterans first, followed by Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
If you are a candidate from the general public, you will have to pay for any expenses related to your participation in this staffing process, as well as any relocation costs if you receive an offer of employment from this process.
Qualified members and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces who receive an offer of employment are not entitled to relocation costs from the CRA. They may, however, be entitled to a final relocation from the Department of National Defence.
Minimum staffing requirement
Education
At minimum, the successful completion of a secondary school (high school) diploma. *Proof of education required.
Foreign Education Credentials And Designations
Please note: If you have foreign education credentials, you must have your education credentials confirmed by a recognized credential assessment service and provide proof of Canadian equivalency to the staffing board. Essential staffing requirements
No prior experience is required!
Note: While prior experience is not required, preference may be given to candidates who have specific experience related to the position being staffed as outlined below. This experience must have been obtained in a professional, academic, or volunteer setting.
Required: You must attach your resume to your application, clearly outlining your work history and applicable experience.
You are encouraged to submit your online application, education credentials and all required documents as soon as possible. Applications will be screened against staffing requirements mentioned above and assessments will be conducted on an ongoing basis, on an on-going basis.
Assessment
If you have a limitation that may impact your performance during an assessment, such as a test or interview, you may require an accommodation, and we encourage you to ask for it.
