Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable pharmacist to join our team in Anand Nagar, Thane. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience and hold a diploma in pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Medication Dispensing**: Accurately prepare and dispense prescribed medications and ensure patients understand their prescriptions.
2. **Patient Consultation**: Provide information to patients about medications, including dosage, side effects, and potential interactions, ensuring they feel confident in their treatment plans.
3. **Inventory Management**: Monitor pharmaceutical inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and assist in ordering medications to ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked.
4. **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of patient prescriptions and medication dispensed, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
5. **Collaboration**: Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide support in clinical decision-making related to medication use.
Required Skills and Expectations:
Candidates must possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers. Attention to detail is crucial for accurate medication dispensing and record-keeping. Candidates should be proficient in using pharmacy software and have a solid understanding of pharmacology, prescriptions, and health regulations. A compassionate attitude toward patient care is vital, as is the willingness to stay updated with the latest pharmaceutical developments.
