The team

Business Analyst & reporting, part of the enabling areas – Information Technology SAP team.

Your work profile

Primary purpose of the role

• The role is to operate at the DSA cluster level, overseeing the SAP process area, Client to cash
• Responsible for business analysis and SAP report development, focusing on functional aspects including testing and confirmation.
• Handling support for the reports deployed
• Identifying critical demands and creating a mechanism to track their progress using the analytical tools, and creating dashboards

Major responsibilities & deliverables

• Act as a liaison between the stakeholder and Deloitte’s global SAP technical or implementation team to identify business needs, analyze data, and implement the solution.
• A comprehensive understanding of Deloitte’s global SAP template solution, including the ability to perform transactions on the S/4HANA system.
• A comprehensive understanding of your module’s integration with other SAP modules.
• Test the solutions provided by the global team on the SAP S4 HANA UAT instance for the global and local change requests to ensure that the solution is deployed as per the business requirement document & aligning to India taxation requirements.
• Monitor support incidents raised with the global service desk for their timely completion/resolution
• Monitor support incidents raised with the local service desk for reports locally developed for their timely completion/resolution
• Developing and delivering training for the new features.
• Report or dashboard creation – writing a functional specification giving the detailed technical logic for report development.
• Developing business requirement document, use cases
• Drafting the functional specifications for the interfaces needed to connect peripheral systems.
• Data migration

Skills Required

• SAP certification in the S4 HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) module is mandatory, and exposure to SAP Project System (PS) or working with SAP cross-application time sheet is desirable.
• 5 years or more of business function experience in sales or manufacturing.
• 3-5 years of SAP SD or SD/PS module implementation is required
• Experience in SAP developments like reports, interfaces, forms and enhancements
• Ability to perform standard SAP SD or SD/PS transactions
• Knowledge of SAP S4 HANA tables
• SAP GST solution know-how is a must
• Good understanding of the support process
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies

Experience required, Any Specific Industry / Company exposure

• Have worked independently in configuring the SAP SD module, including taxation, in the professional services industry or the manufacturing sector

B. Tech/BE –Computers/B.Sc. Computers/BCA/BIT and PGDBIT/MCA/MBA-Systems (IT)/ M.Sc. –Computers
