UI/UX Developer

Hybrid Working – Edinburgh OR London – 2 days a week on site.

Lorien’s leading banking client is looking for additional UI/UX Developers to join them, these roles are looking for strong experience with CSS, Figma, and Data Visualisation.

This role is based in Edinburgh OR London.

This role will be Via Umbrella.

Working in a Hybrid Model of 2 days a week on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• 4+ years combining UI/UX design and Front End implementation.
• Proficient in Figma (wireframes, prototypes, design systems) and React component development with TypeScript.
• Strong CSS skills – Tailwind CSS, glass morphism effects (frosted glass, backdrop blur, transparency), dark mode theming, modern typography (Inter/Plus Jakarta Sans).
• Data visualisation expertise – building radar chart components, heat maps, line graphs, and bar charts using Recharts or D3.js.
• Responsive design for desktop/laptop (primary) with tablet support.
• WCAG AA accessibility compliance. Experience creating design systems and reusable component libraries. Ability to run usability testing sessions with end users.
