Salary on appointment will be £38,784 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £46,049 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Development and Engagement Manager to join the Library and Learning Enhancement (LLE) Division.
This role will lead strategic, cross divisional projects that enhance the visibility, engagement and student experience of LLE services. Acting as a key point of liaison, the post holder will work collaboratively across LLE, academic departments, professional services, senior university stakeholders and student representatives, using strong diplomatic and negotiation skills to build consensus and deliver shared priorities. The role holder will bring their communications and UX testing skills to successfully lead on multiple service projects across areas such as website development, digital tool adoption, and Enterprise Service Management integration. The postholder will directly line manage the LLE Engagement Officer and work closely with the LLE leadership team, to take an agile and evidence-based approach to service improvement.
You will have a degree or equivalent professional experience in project management, communications or a related field, with experience of managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. You will bring confidence in influencing and negotiating at all levels, experience of working collaboratively across organisational boundaries, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational, analytical and people management skills are essential, alongside a proactive, resilient and inclusive approach. Knowledge of user experience and service design principles is required, with experience in higher education or library and learning support services, and a professional project management qualification, being desirable.
This part-time (0.8 FTE) post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
