Design surface and underground mines based on geological data

Prepare mine layouts, pit designs, stopes, and haul road plans

Develop short-term and long-term mine plans and production schedules

Exploration & Resource Evaluation

Work with geologists to evaluate mineral deposits

Analyze drilling data and ore body models

Estimate mineral reserves and resources

Operations Management

Oversee daily mining operations to meet production targets

Coordinate drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and processing activities

Optimize equipment usage and manpower deployment

Design drilling and blasting patterns

Select explosives and blasting techniques

Ensure safe and controlled blasting operations

Safety, Health & Environmental Management

Ensure compliance with mine safety regulations and standards

Quality Control & Grade Management

Monitor ore quality and control dilution and losses

Coordinate ore blending and stockpiling

Ensure consistent feed quality to processing plants

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with mining laws, permits, and environmental regulations

Prepare technical reports and production records

Liaise with regulatory authorities and inspectors

Team Leadership & Coordination

Supervise mine supervisors, engineers, and operators

Coordinate with geology, processing, safety, and maintenance teams
