Job Description
Looking for a Financial Analyst to join our growing and dynamic Finance Business Partner team. This position will support the senior members of the FP&A team in providing financial analysis and insights to support Microchip’s business units and business decision-making processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Of Financial Analyst
- Update and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and templates on a regular basis for Business Unit management review
- Support Senior Analysts with Financial analysis related to revenue, gross margin, OpEx, CapEx, and headcount, including reconciliations for assigned Business Units
- Partner closely with Accounting team to ensure accurate accounting results and proper accounting treatment
- Support process improvement initiatives and financial system enhancement or automation in collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive common practices and improve productivity
- Provide assistance for ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and data analytics as needed
Requirements/Qualifications
- Undergraduate BBA or BComm degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Information Science
- Prior experience in FP&A or Finance/Accounting (including internships or co-op experience) is preferred
- Strong proficiency with Excel and the ability to research, analyze, and investigate data independently
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
- Comfortable managing large volumes of data in different formats and systems
- Detailed-oriented, well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Benefits of working at Microchip
The annual base salary range for this position is 53,000 – 90,000.*
