Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist position is available in the Great Falls, MT area, supporting student mental health and academic success within local schools. This role involves direct assessment, counseling, and consultation services, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students across multiple school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to identify student learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges
• Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals
• Provide individual and group counseling to support student well-being and academic achievement
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to design and evaluate student support strategies
• Facilitate crisis intervention and assist in managing student mental health emergencies
• Travel between schools within the district to deliver services efficiently

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology, or related field
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments
• Knowledge of intervention strategies and counseling techniques for children and adolescents
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while traveling between school locations
