Our cybersecurity operators are experts at assessing and defending mission-critical data and the networks that facilitate their operation. We are focused on delivering advanced products and industry best practices that meet each customer’s unique requirements. We’re looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to support critical cyber operations in highly secure environments. You’ll be instrumental in detecting anomalies, analyzing complex systems, and reinforcing network security to safeguard high-value missions. Requirements
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- 8+ years in cybersecurity
- 3+ years in passive vulnerability analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security, GSEC).
- Experience with network defense technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
- Proficient in network protocol analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump) and SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Kibana).
- Experience in vulnerability scanning, incident response, and threat hunting.
- Familiarity with Linux-based server and user environments, including troubleshooting and security configurations.
- Familiarity with DoD cyber security frameworks (e.g., RMF, NIST 800-53) and system defense-in-depth architectures.
- In-depth understanding of network security, adversary techniques, and incident response strategies.
- Proficiency with Ethernet, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, SMB, RDP protocols.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and secure system design.
- Strong analytical and investigative mindset.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently.
- Strong desire to grow and learn new skills in cyber security field.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Advanced certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, other GIAC certifications.
- Experience in Cyber Protection, SOC, CSIRT, Incident Response, Vulnerability Assessment, or Blue/Red team roles.
- Familiarity with AI/ML and Cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain operational security tools and systems, including servers, firewalls, and network devices.
- Analyze network behavior, investigate anomalies, and identify vulnerabilities to recommend corrective actions.
- Perform security compliance scanning and validate findings with system users and administrators.
- Collaborate with teams for incident response, system hardening, and operational improvements.
- Document and report anomalies, vulnerabilities, and recommended improvements.
- Assist with policy development and additional tasks as needed.
