About The Position
Wellspring Church is focused on discipling people to become committed followers of Jesus Christ, guiding them through stages of salvation, foundation, maturation, and multiplication. The Worship Team Admin performs meaningful administrative support for the Worship team within the Experience Department, collaborating with other team members and supporting the Worship Pastor. This role ensures the worship ministry operates with excellence and efficiency by managing volunteer recruitment and records, coordinating worship event logistics, and producing service materials like lyrics and resources, thereby playing a vital part in equipping volunteers and supporting the overall mission.
Requirements
- MUST be teachable and willing to continue learning.
- Able to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Must be a proactive self-starter, creative problem solver and team player.
- Able to work collaboratively with other department teams to support the ministry of Wellspring Church.
- Understanding of confidentiality and proper care of personal information.
- Knowledge of computer applications such as Word and/or Pages, Excel and/or Numbers, PowerPoint and/or Keynote, etc.
- Constant periods of sitting and repetitive motions. Occasionally able to lift or move up to 20lbs and standing or walking.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years related experience in a ministry setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and develop Worship team volunteers to be equipped for all services.
- Provide administrative support for church worship events, including managing registrations, tracking resources, and coordinating volunteers.
- Produce lyrics for worship services in advance, utilizing presenting software.
- Maintain the church database records for Worship team volunteers, events, and attendees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
