Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while reflecting our caring culture and innovative approach to people-first service.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting access control activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior, exterior, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and/or other assigned areas, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and document observations, incidents, and daily activity in required reports.
• Support emergency response activities, follow post orders and client-directed protocols, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
