Responsibilities :

Business Responsibilities :

• Builds and maintains relationships with hiring managers to help determine manpower needs and execute recruitment strategy.
• Develops a thorough understanding of the marketplace in which we recruit and establishes networks.
• Utilizes direct sourcing, internet recruiting, networking, employee referrals and creative sourcing expertise to identify qualified candidates.
• Tracks candidate status and onboarding process within the ATS; maintains accurate documentation to track recruitment efforts, applicant flow, interviews, hires, and other selection and onboarding activities.
• Manages full-life cycle recruitment process (sourcing, pre-screening, assessments, work within ATS, background checks, substance screening, create offer letters, etc.).
• Develops and maintains relationships with Trade Schools / Military Bases as a resource in attracting talent.
• Maintains awareness of competitor intelligence, industry trends and best in class recruitment practices.
• Provides guidance to hiring managers on legal requirements (interviewing, ban-the-box, adverse action, etc.)
• Ensures compliance with all state and federal laws / regulations regarding selection and on-boarding.
• Attends recruitment events (job fairs) as necessary.
• Performs other HR duties / projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience for non-exempt and exempt level positions. Experience within the HVAC / R, construction, field service or skilled trades industries is a plus!
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working and managing an ATS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention-to-detail, ability to multi-task.
• Utilization of Social Media as a recruiting and recruitment branding tool.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness for occasional travel (branch visits, conferences, recruiting events, etc.)
• Ability to operate with a sense of urgency in a fast paced work environment.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team setting.
• Solid knowledge of basic HR laws and regulations as they pertain to the hiring process preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, strong Word and Excel strongly preferred .
