We are seeking an Engineering Director to lead a dynamic Mobile Engineering team. This role involves driving the development and delivery of new native mobile features (iOS and Android) for a globally recognized mobile app.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities and extensive engineering skills, with a focus on building native mobile applications used by millions worldwide.

You will collaborate closely with product development to understand and meet customer needs, advance the mobile platform, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements :

• 8+ years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on customer-facing products.
• Experience in native mobile app development (iOS and Android) or leading a native mobile development team.
• Proven ability to manage software engineering teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale applications and understanding of application logic and dependencies.
• 4-5+ years of experience in direct s / people management, including coaching, mentoring, and guiding technical teams.
• Experience in attracting, hiring, and retaining top engineering talent.
• Proficiency with Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development methodologies.
• University Degree in computer science or a related field.

Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of skilled mobile engineers to build and deliver the mobile roadmap.
• Collaborate with mobile product development to understand and meet product and customer needs.
• Enhance the mobile platform to improve developer efficiency.
• Manage both co-located and remote engineering teams.
• Foster continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.
• Recruit top mobile talent from the industry.
• Drive innovation in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to inspire change and execute product roadmaps.
• Ensure the creation of high-quality, documented, and compliant deliverables.
• Prioritize, plan, and implement development schedules for major product releases.

Salary and Benefits :

• Salary range : $170,000.00 to $255,000.00 annually, plus bonus and equity options.
