Career Transitions is supporting a leading manufacturer of chemical compounds used in a variety of industries and applications.

They have an opening on their SW Michigan based team for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role is responsible for developing and implementing recruiting strategies in a manufacturing environment, and requires experience recruiting for a diverse set of positions including managerial, professional and light industrial.

Specific duties and qualifications include :

• Collaborating with Departmental Managers to develop staffing requisitions in accordance with position requirements and staffing budgets.
• Develop recruiting programs aimed at attracting candidates including active job seekers, passive candidates and those seeking college internships.
• Streamline and participate in the interviewing and onboarding processes.
• College degree preferred, will consider relative experience.
• E xperience recruiting in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
• E xperience with Applicant Tracking Systems a plus
