Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing administrative and clinical tasks in a medical office setting. The Medical Assistant will work directly with patients to obtain medical histories, perform routine check-ups, administer injections, and assist with other medical procedures. Additionally, the Medical Assistant will be responsible for maintaining medical records and communicating with healthcare providers.

Qualifications

Candidate must have Medical Assisting certification

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Demonstrated experience and consistency in previous roles; no blood drawing duties post 1/1/24.

Eagerness and willingness to learn new skills.

Ability to interpret laboratory results.

Experience in assisting with biopsies.

Skilled in taking patient vitals and rooming patients.

Endocrinology experience is highly advantageous, though not mandatory.

Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology

Experience working in a Medical Office

Excellent Patient Care skills

Experience maintaining Medical Records

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
