Responsibilities
Medical Office Specialists
- Handling general clerical tasks including answering phones and verifying insurances.
- Greet patients and their family members for check in and check out.
- Schedule appointments, confirm correct billing information, collect funds
Medical Assistants
- Triage patients
- Complete required daily tasks
- General MA duties
- Help with phones and office tasks when needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivelent
- Certification in MA/MOS from an accredited school
- Previous experience with, or an ability to learn to use common office equipment, such as modern phone systems, fax machines, and copy machines
- Multitasking and handling multiple requests from different individuals
- Strong communication skills and extremely self-motivated
