Reporting to our Global Sales Executive, the Director, Inside Sales will be a highly strategic leader responsible for evolving our Inside Sales organization for the future as we continue to scale. We are specifically looking for a leader with proven and innovative strategies for optimizing the sales techniques, processes, technology stack and working with marketing to increase the velocity of the team in connecting with prospective customers to build a rich pipeline for our field sales professionals. What you’ll do

• Provide exceptional leadership to our talented team of Inside Sales professionals across all dimensions of the work they do
• Partner with key leaders to deeply understand our products and markets
• Translate that knowledge into innovative approaches that drive success
• Employ a data driven approach to running the business – through looking at weekly performance metrics, developing goals and objectives and measuring success
• Strong salesforce skills to help with lead management and reporting
• Develop a strategy for continuous improvement against the core metrics
• Design and lead compelling processes for the team to prospect for new business opportunities for our mostly enterprise accounts
• Work with team on call skills optimization through recording and analyzing customer calls
• Be an engaged and visible leader for the team and as well as participate in high level discovery calls with the C-suite and VPs
• Establish yourself as a thought leader who is constantly learning about Corelight business from the customers you and your team connect with, how best to engage customers, what messages they respond well to, which webinars and shows produce the highest quality leads and share that learned knowledge with the rest of the organization
• Hire great talent and if appropriate help them move into other roles as they prove themselves
• Serve as a critical partner to the regional field team and marketing team to develop creative and effective call campaigns
• Ensure high integrity data is captured in Salesforce.com on all activity and customer touchpoints
• Collaborate with channel partners to execute on the go-to-market strategy
• Work to enable your team to its maximum potential while ensure you simultaneously ensure you are driving Corelights business objectives

Who we’re looking for

• Proven track record in developing a highly successful inside sales organization with consistent results
• Intrinsically motivated leader with high EQ and an inspirational presence that motivates people
• Strong general business acumen and a defined approach to leading a team
• Ability to understand technical concepts and a general passion for technology
• Cyber security domain knowledge strongly preferred
• Demonstrated interest in continuing your own learning
• Exceptional communication skills that include strong presentation skills and an interpersonal approach that balances candor with care
• A four-year degree from an accredited university is required for this role
• A minimum of 3 years of experience leading an inside sales team at a relevant organization
