Requirements
Rhapsody Integration Engine Professional Certification. Proven experience (2+ years) working as an EDI Developer with a focus on healthcare IT and HL7 standards.
In-depth knowledge of HL7 standards, including HL7 v2.x (e.g., v2.3, v2.5) and HL7 v3 / CDA. Experience with HL7 message structure, segments, fields, and data types, and proficiency in developing HL7 message transformations.
Familiarity with healthcare data exchange protocols and security standards (e.g., DICOM, FHIR, HIPAA). Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical terminology, and regulatory requirements (e.
g., Meaningful Use, HITECH Act). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex EDI issues and propose effective solutions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements in a dynamic healthcare environment.
