Doylestown Health Hiring for RN – LDRP at Doylestown, PA Full Time

I. PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, to collaborate with the physician’s medical plan, and to execute the objectives and the policies of the hospital.

Ii. Essential Functions

Assesses, plans, implements, documents, coordinates, and manages patient care according to department and hospital standards and with consideration of age-specific and population specific accommodation.

Utilizes leadership skills to effectively direct other nursing personnel and coordinate patient care as required by the Nurse Practice Act and department and hospital standards. Delegates appropriately to utilizing clear expectations and feedback.

Communicates and collaborates with patients, physicians, and family members and other health care disciplines in achieving excellence in patient care during hospitalization and at discharge planning.

Utilizes analytical skills to provide efficient patient care to manage critical situations in a timely, safe manner.

Demonstrates competency in all interventions when administering physical and psychological care to patients according to department specific skills checklist.

Demonstrates leadership skills in team interactions and enhances interpersonal relationships to create a cohesive and productive environment.

Job Qualifications

• Education
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current licensure in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of State Bureau of Occupational and Professional Affairs
• Successful completion of appropriate continuing education specific to job requirements
• Experience: Varies based on department and position.
• Other Skills:
• Certified in B.L.S. – C.P.R.
• Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
• RNC strongly encouraged
