Job Title : Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, your main role will be to facilitate communication between production, sales, and shipping to ensure the seamless transportation of material in compliance with all applicable procedures, state and federal rules and regulations.

This role involves operating a sit-down forklift, weighing, measuring, and checking materials for inventory and accounting purposes.

The job duties split equally between physical and clerical tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory records, examining materials for defects, researching inventory discrepancies, and communicating with various departments.

In addition, you’ll physically confirm the existence of selected materials in inventory, schedule and maintain a perpetual inventory system, sort materials for storage, and conduct audits as requested.

• Shipping experience making bill of ladings, packing slips
• Experience working with UPS and FEDEX
• Forklift operation
• Experience with inventory management
• Ability to weigh, measure, and check materials
• Experience with an ERP + CRM Software

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tipton, Indiana.

Work Environment

The role operates in a 1st shift environment from 6 : 30 am to 3 : 00 pm
