We are looking for someone to join our purpose-led high-growth scaleup as a Business Analyst (Operations) who will play a pivotal role in driving transformative initiatives across multiple brands.

Your mission is to ensure seamless alignment with business rules, compliance controls, and risk appetite, while spearheading innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. As our Business Analyst, you’ll be the architect of change, working collaboratively with internal teams, stakeholders, and outsourced providers to implement strategic enhancements that propel Future Group forward.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about Future Group’s mission, dedicated to transitioning Australia’s investments away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energy.
• Is committed to utilising financial resources to foster a sustainable and equitable world.
• Possesses a robust financial background, ideally with a degree in Finance or equivalent experience in IT, Business, or Finance fields.
• Brings 2-5 years of industry experience, ideally with a focus on superannuation.
• Demonstrates effective project management skills, capable of leading and executing initiatives successfully.
• Is proficient in relevant software, including Confluence and Jira, with a preference for experience using Jira.
• Has strong analytical abilities, skilled in conducting needs analysis and advising on process improvements.
• Has advanced Excel skills for efficient data manipulation and analysis.
• Communicates effectively, both in written and verbal forms, facilitating collaboration and presentation of findings.

Some nice-to-haves but are not essential are:

• Familiarity with client and regulatory requirements and operational frameworks.
• Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of best practice processes and procedures.

As the Business Analyst (Operations) you will:

• Lead and execute initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness across multiple brands within the organisation.
• Collaborate with Smart Partners, coaches, advisors, and internal teams to ensure alignment of initiatives with business rules, compliance controls, and risk appetite.
• Contribute to project planning, coordination, and delivery, working with relevant stakeholders to determine scope, requirements, and solutions for assigned initiatives.
• Coordinate with product and operations teams on projects and initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with overarching organisational objectives.
• Maintain communication and oversight of outsourced service providers and trustees, monitoring performance metrics and evaluating service quality and adherence to agreements.
• Track key performance indicators related to engagement, collaboration, and service provider performance, generating s and analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and document business process maps, recommending solutions to improve business process effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams to identify areas of risk within processes or operations and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
