Talenza Hiring for Senior Business Analyst at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Full Time

Our client, a leading finance organisation in Brisbane, requires a Snr Business Analyst specialising in Data, to support a large separation project. You will be working with technical data teams in an Agile environment. This is an initial 6 months contract with likely extension.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Gather, validate and articulate both technical and business needs & requirements.
• Ability to provide data analysis and data insight
• Ensuring data integrity during the separation
• Develop and maintain documentation, including data mapping, business rules, and data quality standards.
• Use your knowledge of Agile environments to ensure adoption and increase Agile maturity in your team.
• Be an expert in facilitating and communicating with technical stakeholders.
• Be engaging and have the ability to influence challenging stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders that are geographically distributed.
• Be accountable and work with your team to deliver high quality of work.

Essential Requirements

• Proficient experience with data large data projects in financial services (Banking/Insurance) including data warehouse, data migration or data separation projects.
• Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience
• Experience with Agile Projects with a focus on delivering successful outcomes in complex, large-scale projects.
• Experience in working with geographically distributed teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards in banking.
• Ideally looking at Brisbane based candidates due to in office attendance requirements.
