CULTA Hiring for Retail Sales Supervisor at Baltimore, MD Full Time

The Retail Sales Supervisor will assist with the day-to-day operations of dispensary (retail store) and provides support for the management team. This position is responsible for maintaining best-in-class customer service while ensuring compliance to all applicable regulations and company standards. The Retail Sales Supervisor will set the standard for performance and keeping associates motivated. The role requires excellent leadership qualities and gain and understanding of dispensary inventory and products.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dispensary.
• Maintaining store compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Overseeing the sales process.
• Coordinates and oversees schedule for the dispensary sales team.
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels in coordination with the Inventory team as well as keeping track of expiring products.
• Managing financial records and daily cash handling procedures during shift.
• Maintaining a clean and organized store.
• Provide best-in-class customer service to customers.
• Follow and uphold established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products and strains in the store as well as industry-wide product knowledge, and train and share that knowledge with other members of the team.
• Assist all Dispensary Associates in the consultation of all customers to ensure that the employee is informed of the right product choices by being knowledgeable of how different methods of cannabis consumption affect customers differently.
• Dispensary open and closing procedures.
• Daily activities, maintenance, and data collection for any ed issues and/or complaints.
• Assist with the onboarding and training of new staff in partnership with the management team
• Coordinate and oversee merchandising of inventory and development of sales assets for the dispensary in conjunction with management.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to pass all applicable background checks.
• Must be able to work onsite
• Ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of working in a cannabis retail capacity and have knowledge of METRC.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operations.
• Preferred Education: College Degree with a focus in business, math, or science.
