Responsibilities
As a Claim Processor, you’ll be entrusted with the following tasks:
Analyze and process medical insurance claims in adherence to Dental and Vision policies and procedures.
Thoroughly verify the accuracy of data input into claims system software.
Validate claims authenticity by meticulously reviewing attached documentation and files for completeness and accuracy.
Make informed decisions to approve or deny claims for payment, ensuring fee correctness and proper authorization submission.
Uphold timely claim processing in alignment with established guidelines.
Identify and address recurring provider or member issues, proposing effective solutions to Management.
Collaborate with the membership department to maintain the accuracy of member coverage information and address discrepancies.
Resolve claims-related inquiries from the Customer Service department promptly and efficiently.
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA standards to safeguard member privacy.
Requirements
High School Diploma
1-3 years of experience in claims processing (Medical, Dental, or Vision)
Proficient understanding of Medical/Dental/Vision terminology
Ability to navigate Microsoft Office with ease
