Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health and social services agencies, has an opening for a is seeking a Healthcare Consulting Manager to work with government organizations to execute large-scale organization transformation, performance and program management, and continuous process improvement for our clients in Department of Veterans Affairs. The selected candidate should be able to write s and assist with client presentations. This individual will support use case development in emerging areas such as artificial intelligence and extended reality, and interface with stakeholders at VA Medical Centers. The Manager will play a lead role in the development of deliverables including Use Cases, Business Cases and Executive briefings. The selected candidate will build trusted relationships between VA Central Office, Academic Affiliates, and the Private sector, and support large industry events on emerging healthcare topics.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Work closely with and support clients in the planning and implementation of organizational transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with client leadership to set expectations for deliverables, shape work product development, and ensure quality delivery
• Leverage expertise in systems thinking to inform its recommendations on changes to structures, processes and systems required to achieve organizational strategies and objectives
• Perform independent analysis and recommendations to senior leadership on status of program performance; assess initiative issues and risks and recommend mitigation strategies for resolution
• Support senior leadership decision boards that govern the progress of efforts and address risks or issues affecting success
• Collaborating with clients to conduct stakeholder analysis and define project management approaches
• Collaborating with clients to review and develop guidance and policies that will facilitate understanding, adoption, and implementation of new processes
• Develop Program Management artifacts as needed (Charters, SLAs, project plans, initiative briefings)

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MHA preferred) from an accredited college or University
• 8+ years of experience working on complex team-based engagements in a consulting organization, government staff or support contractor
• Experience with consulting methodologies such as change management, project management, process improvement, analysis and lean six sigma
• Familiarity with project management tools
• Ability to gather and analyze data effectively
• Ability to deliver in project settings that require a grasp of cross-functional subject matter
• Ability to be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to simplify complex ideas for non-experts to comprehend
• Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
• Ability to obtain a public trust

Preferred Qualifications

• More than five years of professional work experience in Management Consulting or in a healthcare system
• Active PMP Certification
• Experience participating in the development of one or more complex organizational design or new office stand-up effort
