ROUSSOS Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a national engineering firm who are known as specialists in urban design and land development, delivering large-scale master planned communities and subdivisions. Having operated for over 35 years, this employee-owned company has grown significantly to an established team of 400. In this role you will have direct support from a motivating Senior Associate who over their 10 years within the organisation has developed strong technical knowledge and leadership skills. This contributes to the overall growth of the organisation and as a result from continued success and achieving great outcomes, they are now looking to expand their presence in SA with engaging a Project Manager to join their team.

The role

As the Project Manager, you’ll be working with designers and civil engineers to bring to life complex land division and master planned communities right through design and construction phases. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Being the primary point of contact for the client through the lifecycle of the project, ensuring complex challenges and problems are managed and resolved
• Taking overall responsibility for design delivery including resource management of designers and coordination of other disciplines, both internal and external
• Preparing tender and contract documentation
• Collaborating in the design approval process
• Managing invoicing, planning, tracking project health and mitigating potential issues

The ideal candidate

The successful candidate will have established client facing experience delivering land division projects and associated infrastructure. The ideal candidate should demonstrate effective communication skills to achieve anticipated outcomes and maintain positive working relationships. Additionally, they should exhibit excellent administrative skills, with a focus on driving accuracy and process improvement. A passion for teamwork and collaboration, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to projects, is essential.
