HANWHA Q CELLS USA INC Hiring for Quality Engineer at Atlanta, GA Full Time

Quality Engineer is responsible for quality control and quality assurance internally and externally. Mainly incoming inspection, product line patrol, outgoing quality control, internal quality issue handling, audit response, and quality issue handling from customers.

Please note this role is in Cartersville, GA, relocation is provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage raw materials’ quality to ensure consistency and integrity.
• Suppliers control for handling non-conforming materials.
• Perform and manage periodic calibration of measurement test equipment.
• Responsible for the final goods’ quality in the warehouse.
• Troubleshoot quality issue.
• Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate internally with related departments.
• Manage process changes according to the company policy.
• Responding to customer and certification audit.
• Handling customer quality claims & complaints.
• Prepare s to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
• Accurately record data and production information.
• Adhere to the Health & Safety procedures.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
• Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic PC skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks.
• Excellent logic and analytical abilities
• Strong organization aptitude and attention to detail
• A solid understanding of quality in manufacturer
• Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlled.
• Able to cope with pressure, self-motivated and driven team player.
• Proactive approach toward various issues.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
• Able to lift to 50 pounds without restriction
• Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Q Cells
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in either assembly and/or manufacturing environment.
• Analytical skills and the knowledge of quality.
• Completion of training on ISO9001 quality management system
