Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team at American Dental Care. The Dental Treatment Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the administrative and clinical aspects of our patient’s treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with patients and their families to schedule appointments and discuss treatment plans
• Explain treatment plans, cost estimates, and payment options to patients
• Obtain and verify insurance information and submit claims on behalf of patients
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and financial information
• Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless experience for patients
• Manage and prioritize the schedule to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Follow up with patients to confirm appointments and ensure their satisfaction with their treatment and experience at the practice
• Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date on dental procedures, technology, and industry trends

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or similar role
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in dental terminology and software, such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
• Knowledge of dental insurance and claims submission processes
