Saint Luke’s Health System Hiring for Medical Office Specialist, Full Time- Primary Care Clinic at Platte City, MO Full Time

Saint Luke’s Primary Care clinic in the Kansas City metro are seeking a Medical Office Specialist to join our team. This position will be located around Platte City, Smithville, Parkville, outside of Liberty, and around the North Kansas City area. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.

Shift Details: Full Time Day

Responsibilities

• Answers the telephone
• Communicates messages through email or Epic
• Greets, registers, and schedules patient appointments
• Collects patient copayments
• Makes appointment reminder calls
• Verifies insurance and other patient data is accurate
• Scans and/or uploads patient information to patients electronic chart

We are seeking individuals who are able to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including: medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals, etc. and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned.
