SAIC is hiring for a Logistics Principal, which is a DMSMS software position that is responsible for managing logistic engineering and life cycle support services.

Additional responsibilities include managing customer services and logistic product support team and providing ILS, interim support requirements development and execution, and lifecycle cost analysis support services.

Working with engineers and other subject matter experts to deliver the best possible solution to out-of-date equipment / software.

This position is located Virginia Beach, VA as a Hybrid / Remote role.

JOB DUTIES :

• Tracking software for PMW-160 systems using QStar
• Conduct spares planning
• Preparation of monthly software obsolescence for Logistics, Engineering, and the Program Office.
• Managing all End-of-Life IT items and tracking software within the programs to assure timely integration of software updates, renewals, etc.
• Working with engineers and other subject matter experts to deliver the best possible solution to out-of-date equipment / software.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and ten (10) years or more of related experience in logistics, including familiarity with EOL / EOS cycles, software tracking, provisioning, purchasing, vendor relations, and logistics engineering.
• Active Secret Clearance required.

DESIRED SKILLS :

• Direct experience with PMW-160 systems, including intermediate knowledge of the ADNS and CANES programs.
• Experience with QStar, REMEDY, and CMPRO.
