Computer Futures Hiring for ECO Design Engineer at West Midlands (Region) Full Time

We are looking for an ECO Design Engineer to join an Energy company in the West Midlands on a contract basis in the next few weeks.

The role will involve ensuring compliance with environmental directives, reviewing designs for compliance, tracking industry trends, updating and amending the ECO road map.

The ideal candidate will have experience of RoHS2 directives 2011/65/EC and REACH regulations alongside a background in Electronics.

Beneficial/Desirable skills include:

• Knowledge of Protection Products
• SCARAB
• ISO14040
• ISO14025
• WEEE Directive 2011/65/EU
• SimaPro, EcoInvent, Windchill, SUMA, -WPA
• Conflict Minerals/Dodd-Frank regulations

Location: Hybrid (2 Days On-site in West Midlands A Week)

Duration: 8 months

Rate: c£34 p/hr – Inside IR35
