Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Teacher of English to join our fantastic team on a temporary basis from February until Mid-July. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our students’ educational journey and contributing to their holistic development.

Responsibilities

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create innovative and stimulating lessons that challenge students and foster a love for learning.

• Monitor Student Progress: Assess student work, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with the English curriculum team to disseminate best practices, develop teaching resources, and maintain consistent approaches.

• Support Co-Curricular Activities: Contribute to the extensive co-curricular life of the school, demonstrating your commitment to student development beyond the classroom.

• Adapt to Individual Needs: Tailor your teaching approach to meet the diverse needs of our enthusiastic and well-behaved students.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)and relevant teaching qualifications.

• Experience Teaching Key Stage 4: Familiarity with the iGCSE Edexcel specification is highly desirable.

• Passion for Education: A dedication to nurturing students’ potential and becoming an integral part of the schools community.
