C Spire Hiring for National Account Director Full Time

As we rapidly diversify our business solutions, a new National Account Manager will have an opportunity to join an elite team and play a pivotal role at the center of a new patent-pending software solution backed by Cisco. It will be your job to build relationships across the United States and help enterprises and public entities leverage the platform to help networking teams accomplish more in less time.

With the full backing of our industry-leading marketing department and award-winning IT teams, you’ll have all the tools you need to convert leads into long-term allies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze your customer’s financials, business goals, and ambitions to understand their needs, and then align the platform offering and C Spire’s resources to help them tackle the problems they need resolved.
• Prospecting, account acquisition, and account management across the United States.
• Maximize income through business-to-business sales with a progressive, growth-oriented company.
• Drive sales achievement by focusing on account and resource planning to drive sales attainment numbers.
• Foster collaborative and lasting relationships with the customers in both the public and private sectors.
• The sales process will include managing lead lists, networking, attending industry events, customer appointments, and following up on referrals.
• Meet/exceed assigned targets associated with sales productivity.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED
• BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field.
• 10+ years of partner development experience selling technical B2B offerings.
• 5+ years in a national account manager role.
• Experience working and developing relationships with national industry labels like Cisco, Dell, Citrix and state and local governments.
• Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to build rapport with IT and Networking teams, as well as customers.
• Proven ability to learn and understand highly technical products and communicate the capabilities and limitations to non-technical people.
• Outstanding presentations skills and the ability to use Microsoft’s suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Have a global mindset. You will work across multiple time zones, cultures, and with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
• Ability to identify opportunities for IaaS network improvements, optimizations or innovations to drive the best solutions for the account.
• Experience working cross functionally, with product, engineering, delivery, and growth to ensure timely delivery that meets or exceeds SLA requirements.
• Deep understanding of the networking strategy, goals, and needs of the account.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations throughout the United States at least 10% of the year.
• PREFERRED
• Previous experience as a CIO within a government or national label.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Previous collaboration with a pre-sales engineer.
• Experience in a customer success or client-facing role.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen. Must be able to work a flexible schedule shared by other department members including some evenings and weekends.
