Senior Procurement Specialist Full Time

Our client in the government is seeking a seeking a skilled Senior Procurement Specialist for a 1 year contract, the role will be mainly remote but onsite meetings might be required. Work must be done within Alberta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities, Science, Procurement, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years – Experience leading RFPs, NRFPs, RFIs, RFQs, RFXs, evaluations, debriefings, and contract negotiations
• Minimum 8 years – Experience drafting, reviewing, and managing vendor contracts in a complex environment.
• Minimum 8 years – Providing procurement advice to internal clients, senior leadership, and cross functional teams
• Minimum 8 years – Experience procuring goods/services under Canadian public sector entities (e.g., trade agreements, procurement legislation, contract law, government policies)
• Minimum 7 years – Experience applying NWPTA, CETA, CFTA and/or CUSMA to procurement activities.
• Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMA), Certified Public Procurement Officer, or other recognized procurement certification.
