Logistics Specialist

We are looking to hire a bright, eager, and driven individual who is looking for a unique opportunity with exponential room for growth! We currently sell Milgard Windows and Doors into 6 states, a territory larger than any other Milgard dealer.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to grow with a startup company and have an obsession for details and accuracy.

This position is geared towards someone looking to gain knowledge and experience in a new industry and career. This person will lead the logistics portion of our sales cycle, interacting directly with the manufacturer and customer to ensure all orders are handled properly and to Construction Windows high standards.

Duties :

• Answer phones and emails to assist customers with process and product information
• Track and monitor the status of all open orders
• Coordinate and communicate with the manufacturer as well as the customer to ensure all parties have up to date and accurate information using vendor websites, spreadsheets, and company database
• Assist customers with warranty and troubleshooting
• Maintain a filing system for paperwork
• Learn Milgard Windows & Doors product knowledge, industry specific and general construction knowledge, building plan take offs, building codes, etc.

Skills & Requirements :

• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new applications
• Typing 60 wpm
• Confident and friendly phone presence
• Obsession for details, accuracy, and organization
• Comfortability navigating difficult situations with customers, conflict management
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Creative and proactive approach to problem solving
• AA Degree or higher preferred, but not required

Pay Range $20 – $25 per hour

Full time, in-person, 40 hours per week, benefits offered
