Job Title: Zedify Rider (full time or weekend only work available)

Salary: £10.90 / £12.21 inc holiday pay

We’re on the hunt for friendly and hard-working individuals with a passion for cycling and a good level of fitness to join our Cambridge team operating out of our hub near Cambridge North.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Cargo Bike Rider/Courier, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and timely delivery of packages to our valued customers, while representing our partners brand through excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely navigate assigned delivery routes using a company-provided bicycle
• Pick up and deliver packages promptly and accurately while adhering to established delivery schedules and cycling safety guidelines
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries and addressing any inquiries or concerns
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to our partners uniform and appearance standards
• Use handheld devices and company-provided technology to scan packages, track deliveries, and update delivery status in real-time
• Ensure packages are securely loaded and unloaded, preventing any damage during transportation
• any discrepancies, delays, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager promptly
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while cycling and operate the bicycle in a safe and responsible manner
• Comply with all company policies, practices and procedures

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet delivery deadlines.
• Physical fitness and ability to ride a bicycle for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Punctual, presentable, trustworthy and reliable
• Comfortable using handheld devices and technology for tracking and updating delivery information.
