OrthoArizona is looking for a Medical Scribe at our South Gilbert location who is interested in gaining experience in the medical field. This is a great opportunity to work with Orthopedic Surgeons gaining vital clinical experience if you are Pre-Med, Pre-PA or Pre-Nursing candidate. You will be in the exam room with the surgeon typing the HPI, physical exam, imaging dictation, assessment and plan, putting in diagnosis codes, orders for office visit and all inner office procedures. We work as a team to get the job done.

Qualifications:

• High School or college degree.
• Interest in Medical Field, preferably Pre-Med, Medical School, Physician Assistant, or other healthcare related field.
• Good communication skills
• Accurate typing skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR use a plus.
• Type a minimum of 60 WPM.
