Cosmetic Physician Partners Hiring for Medical Assistant at Toledo, OH Full Time
Cosmetic Physician Partners is building a premier network of Physician-led aesthetic clinics throughout the United States. We are seeking an Aesthetics professional to support one of our partner clinics, EVOLV Plastic Surgery & Medical Aesthetics located in Toledo, OH.
The ideal candidate is looking to join an experienced team with a passion for collaboration and helping patients achieve their goals. Must have a love for the aesthetic industry, a willingness to learn and train, and an eagerness to build and grow with us!
Responsibilities:
- Provide care according to physician’s instruction and in accordance with recognized techniques and procedures and established standards and policies to maintain the health and general well-being of the patient
- Provide preoperative and postoperative teaching for both patient and family members
- Provide assistance during surgery or other procedures as indicated
- Set up the patient for surgery including prepping area, draping with sterile drapes, setting up a clean tray with anesthesia, and preparing instruments
- Scrub in as assistant to the surgeons
- Hand instruments and cut sutures, keep the operative area clean and organized
- Administer anesthesia as directed by the physician
- Prepare equipment and paperwork for surgery
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation
- Rooming & completing patient intake/obtaining HPI
- Scribing while assisting with exams; attention to detail is key
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification – preferred
- 3 or more years of experience with a proven track record of building a book of clients
- Excellent communication skills and follow-through
- Experience working in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery office is a plus
- Experience in performing consultations, cross-promoting services, and skincare products, and the ability to close sales
- Familiar with EHR software for healthcare systems.
- Excellent customer service with a patient focus
