SUMMARY : Management Business Solutions is seeking an Engineering Maintenance Supervisor for its client in Hodges, SC . The person will be responsible for overseeing operations and manufacturing processes, as well as tooling and tool design.

The focus is on optimizing the equipment essential for the successful and cost-effective production of assigned parts / products, aligning with engineering specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Lead the engineering team in the planning, design, and maintenance of Caterpillar’s facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
• Manage and execute capital projects related to facility upgrades, expansions, and modernizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met within budget and timeline constraints.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for critical equipment and systems to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives to enhance sustainability and reduce operational costs
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of facilities engineers and technicians. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration.
• Collaborate with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality workmanship and cost-effectiveness in facility-related projects and services.
• Stay abreast of relevant regulations and industry best practices. Ensure facilities comply with environmental, health, and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.
• 15 years of experience in an industrial maintenance position.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and energy-efficient practices.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing facilities management.
