The Perinatal Safety Nurse-Clinical Leader will assist with the ongoing yearly OB staff education necessary for staff to maintain their skills and competencies in Labor and Delivery. This individual will oversee the orientation and education of any new hires and set up the necessary Skills days and Simulations throughout the year to meet National Patient Safety Goals. Ratio – 1:1 (active labor)
1:2/3 for Mother/Baby
NO OR/C-Section knowledge required

Qualifications
10+ Years of OB/L&D experience – Required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – Required
Fetal Monitoring or Inpatient Obstetrics experience to be able to provide education to the L&D staff including the OB Physicians and Pediatricians for Skills days – Required
NRP Certification – Required
AWHONN Certification – Required
STABLE Certification – Required
Current NH or Compact RN licensure – Required
Hours/Day: 12
