Regional Sales Manager
Location: Surrey (South UK)
Salary: £45,000 DOE + Bonus + Car/ Car allowance

As the UKs largest provider and industry leader of everything gas cylinder related, this is the next pivotal hire and one that will see you managing all accounts within your area (Surrey/Sussex/London).

The Opportunity
This is a fantastic role whereby you will be working closely with your own clients, new, existing and lapsed taking a hands-on approach to increase revenue streams, portfolio and brand awareness all whilst maintaining a customer first approach. Building/nurturing, new and existing relationships is a prominent duty of this position, essentially enabling you to get in front of your clients to encourage a more proactive approach to their end user.

The Role
As the Regional Sales Manager you will:

• Be accountable for growth on existing accounts
• Be targets on bringing on new clients
• Proactively engage with lapsed clients to entice back
• Continuously seek operational improvements
• Commute between, Leeds, Newcastle and southern Scotland
• Confidently approach new clients, be this via “Door knocking” (which is completely normal for the industry), or picking up the phone and booking appointments
• Proactively work with Marketing to develop great applicable content
• Manage your Territory and follow up on any leads from the wider business

Our Ideal Candidate
At this stage in your career you will be well versed with Account Management, Sales and rapport building with a proven track record of achievement. Having industry knowledge of gasses, the distribution network and retail merchants is certainly advantageous but not essential. You will also have operated in the capacity of making commercial decisions as to whether or not you continue supplying certain clients based on their performance/H&S and eagerness to maintain a portfolio of products. We are looking for someone with a proven track record and the following skill sets:

• Growth of Accounts
• New client on-boarding
• Significant experience with wining business
• Account retention
• Experience working within a regulated sector
• Having worked within in a KPI’s driven environment
• Performance under pressure
