Join the Civmec Team Civmec are currently seeking experienced Crane Operators. This is a great opportunity to join our Civil Team working on local based construction project in Kemerton, Western Australia. The Project Civmec have been awarded the Construction Contract for the Civil and Concrete works for Phase 2 of the Kemerton Expansion Project (KEP) consisting of Trains 3 and 4 and expanding the reagent and utility infrastructure to essentially double the existing plant’s production capacity. The project is located approximately 17 kilometres North-East of Bunbury, Western Australia. What’s on Offer Expected project completion Mid 2024 Local Opportunity The opportunity for diversity within the scope of the work to gain additional experience Opportunity to be a part of Civmec’s growing construction team Your Background To be successful in the role you will possess the following: Responsible for operation of crane used in heavy lifting and transport Responsible for personal safety and safety of co-workers Perform preventative maintenance as required to including pre-start checks to ensure safe and continual service of crane Conduct Pre-Lift Checksheet Responsible for own and rigger’s compliance with company policy, safety guidelines and procedures Remains in continual voice (radio), hand, and or communication with rigger while operating the crane Operates crane equipment to hoist materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner Performs tasks assigned by rigger during lifting procedures.
