ODA Primary Health Care Network Hiring for Medical Scribe for Xray Department at New York, NY Full Time

The central role of the Medical Scribe is to relieve the physician (or P.A, N.P) of clerical duties thus allowing the physician to focus more directly on clinical care. This position is perfect for Pre-Med students!

Responsibilities:

• Observe the physician during patient encounters and perform documentation on the physician’s behalf
• Enter information into the patient’s medical record
• Access past medical records, lab results and visit history for the physician to review
• Other responsibilities as requested by management

Requirements:

• Pre-Med student/graduates preferred
• Computer proficient
• Fluent in English is a must, fluent in Spanish is a plus
• Authorized to work in the USA

Experience:

• Typing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical Terminology: 1 year (Preferred)

• Mon & Tue – 8:30am – 5pm
• Wednesday – 12pm – 9pm
• Thursday – OFF
• Friday – 8:30am – 2pm
• Saturday – OFF
• Sunday – alternating – 9am – 6pm

Salary: $17.00 per hour
