Job Description

The primary roles and responsibilities of the Logistics Analyst are to provide accurate ing and accountability of overall logistics process and necessary documentation / data management process within the division.

This includes import cost management, logistics process (import data flow, analysis) responsibility, communicating with overseas contacts, logistics planning, and logistics statistical data management

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Review and analyze transportation costs, delivery processes, shipping lanes, and various other metrics related to efficiently moving our merchandise through the supply chain

Maintain various logistics databases, i.e. CPU trackers, transit time estimates, 3PL & carrier scorecards

Partner with IT / BI teams to maintain existing, and create new tools for ing, measuring performance, and tracking KPIs

Leverage data & industry trends to assist is developing best in class service plans for new global markets

Collaborate with the team to develop & improve business rules and standard operating procedures

Develop or document procedures to minimize or mitigate carbon output resulting from the movement of materials or products.

Work with Finance and Accounting on freight accruals and other journal entries impacting Logistics

Help solve problems regarding transportation such as international freight movements, documentation requirements, and service or carrier selection

Monitor and communicate market intelligence, regulation changes and current events impacting transportation.

Cross Train to act as support or back up within Logistics Team
