TransformCare, Inc Hiring for Healthcare Data Analyst at Damascus, MD Full Time

We are currently seeking a full-time Healthcare Data Analyst to support Medicare and Medicaid rate-setting for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This position requires 0-3 years experience in healthcare, programming and/or business consulting.

TransformCare is based in the Washington, DC area and this role will be performed remotely. TransformCare is a subcontractor on this contract and this role will to and work directly with our prime contractor.

Position Overview

The Healthcare Data Analyst is expected to be a self-starter with basic problem-solving and data analytics skills and the ability to work well with and learn from their team members and customers. This individual will be paired with seasoned staff to help in further developing their core consulting skills and will have exciting opportunities to assist in many impactful projects. This position will largely consist of responding to data requests, programming within SAS to pull and analyze data and developing various work products to show the results. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with big data and a seasoned team of data analysts.

Responsibilities

Provide support to the project’s data team. Specific examples of this support include:

• Respond to various data requests from client and team members
• Pull and analyze large data sets for actuaries, physicians and nursing staff
• Synthesize data into meaningful deliverables and work products summarizing key observations and recommendations
• Possess the ability and experience in applying critical thinking to provide recommendations to solve complex problems
• Consolidate input from multiple parties into clear and concise documents
• Participate as a key, collaborative member of a larger client team

Corporate Responsibilities

Participate in various corporate initiatives as requested and as client commitments permit, to include:

• Adhere to corporate policies and procedures
• Maintain 95% utilization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in healthcare or data field
• Healthcare and/or consulting experience desirable
• SAS programming skills desirable
• U.S. citizenship (client requirement)
