Duties : Understand and interpret governance, provide technical expertise in support to customers, staff, and leadership.
Effectively analyze all aspects of the program.Identify issues and gaps;Define the problem;Develop feasible solutions and build a plan;
Present findings and brief to Sr. Leadership;Implement and monitor execution; andIdentify opportunities for improvement.Build s, gather information from across the organization, consolidate responses, and propose new or modified policies to implement best practices and / or new policy / guidance, as directed by the customer.
Evaluate system change proposals and provide recommendations based on guidance and policy relating to each program.Demonstrate subject matter expertise, and provide innovative recommendations to automate annual ing requirements.
Facilitate and ensure all cyber-related IG findings are effectively managed, assigned primary action officers, and monitor deficiency closure.
Prepare information papers, information briefs, and decision memorandums / presentations for senior leaders.Support and coordinate actions that facilitate the execution of the audit program across HQ Air Combat Command, other Major Commands, and subordinate units, as directed.
Performs all other duties, as assigned. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business information systems, information and communication technology, computer information systems or related field.
Equivalent combination of education and experience or 8 years’ equivalent work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
At least five (5) years’ experience in areas such as IT compliance inspections, IT governance and IT service management, or IT cybersecurity required.
Must have prior Air Force Major Command staff officer experience.Three (3) years of experience as Action Officer (Military, Government, or Contractor) in a USAF MAJCOM, Combatant Command, Service Staff or equivalent organization is required.
Must have expert knowledge of USAF Task Management Tracker (TMT).Familiarity with AFI 90-201 is desired.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (to include, but not limited to, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
Must have prior working experience with SharePoint.Ability to assess customer needs / requirements, and translate to propose recommendations for solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong presentation skills.Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work well with others while also being able to effectively work independently.Must be highly organized and have exceptional attention to detail.
Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.Ability to train other team members on this functional area.
This position requires onsite work. Must be able to work in the office.Must hold active DoD security clearance.
